Solid
The solid convex cutters is a Swedish patent since 1898.
The cutters achive a smooth wood surface with minimum rising of fibers. This is achived by help of a tough, sharper edge and the cutters are produced in the most advanced grinding machines.
The solid cutter can be ground many more times than tipped cutters because of a longer "grinding zone". The "grinding zone" on the solid cutters can be up to 35 mm compared to a tipped tool that has between 5-8 mm. This gives the solid tools a much longer life time and better economy for the customer.
